Question by msumuel: Is there any way to increase HDMI connectivity with HDTVs?
I’m looking to purchase a 40″ HDTV but it only includes one HDMI input. I have an Xbox 360 and I’m looking to buy an Apple TV. It would be great if there’s some sort of connector so that I don’t have to disconnect one to use the other. Thanks for your help!

Is there a way to restore pictures saved to the internal memory of my Kodak digital camera?

Question by heathh84: Is there a way to restore pictures saved to the internal memory of my Kodak digital camera?
My digital camera is a Kodak EasyShare CX7430. I had some pictures on the internal memory and they got erased, and unfortunately it seems I cannot restore them. When I hook the camera up to my computer, it recognizes it as a device, not removable media. I would be willing to do anything, as I am also going to contact Kodak. Since the camera doesn’t work anymore anyway, I would also be willing to take the camera apart. Please help me! I have tried numerous programs and so far nothing works. Thank you!

I’ve looked and looked, and I haven’t seen any way of recovering photos from internal memory. With a media card, you are able to mount the card as a drive and search it for missing files. With internal memory, there’s no way for any recovery program to access the memory, since it is accessed by the camera’s proprietary software interface.

Here’s the support page for your camera.

You should be able to find the tech support contact info there. Hopefully they will have a better answer than mine.

Question by : Are there digital tuners that would output 720p resolution signals to HDTVs?

>Are there digital tuners that would output 720p resolution signals to HDTVs?

Yes. They make external HD tuners. See list of them at first link below.

The Samsung DTB-H260F used to be popular: http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=Samsung%20DTB-H260F&_fln=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m283&_rdc=1

An alternative is the get a DTVPAL DVR for 0. This has dual HD tuners so you can watch one channel while recording another.

A third alternative is to connect a HD tuner to a computer and use it as an external tuner.

Are there currently any products that remove or limit motion blur on LCD HDTVs?

Question by bumlazydude: Are there currently any products that remove or limit motion blur on LCD HDTVs?
My friend is having problems with his LCD having motion blur and I am asking this for him. So, is there anything he can get to fix it without buying a new TV?

Best answer:

Answer by Texperson
Blur is usually the result of a weak signal being fed into the tv. If he can boost his signal, it may help.

Otherwise the 120hz tvs are supposed to help in that area.

Are there parental lock options for the latest HDTVs?

Question by barronn30: Are there parental lock options for the latest HDTVs?
I ordered this HDTV, Sony Bravia S Series 32 inch, and I was wondering if there is any parental locks option for it. Like could I set a password to my TV so everytime the TV is switched on, it will play nothing unless the password is put in?
Or does anyone own a HDTV with this option?
I want to have this option available to prevent people from using my stuff without permission.
Thanks for the help.

Answer by Code Napkin
I know for sure the LG LH20 series TV has a lock system for their TV’s (I own one).
And after looking at Sony’s website, it appears your 32″ Bravia S series does have parental controls.

Good luck with your HDTV!
